Dear Friends,
We hope to see our LA friends at the screenings tonight (Yiddish Theater for women only - sorry guys) and tomorrow (open and FREE for all). Tomorrow is a rare opportunity to catch Dan's romantic and poignant classic Out for Love... Be Bach Shortly. It aired on HBO on Valentine's Day and was narrated by Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) when it aired on Channel 4 in the UK. See reminder of (corrected) address and time below.
We have a busy screenings schedule over the next few months: Back by popular demand Yiddish is playing again in New York City and Miami so be sure to tell your friends in these areas. See details below! Praying will be playing at the Austin Jewish Film Festival on January 25th and the San Diego Jewish Film Festival on February 14th. Look for updated info in our January newsletter. Please consider supporting the Yiddish Theater documentary by joining us to light the last candle of Hanukkah and to watch in style the film at the famous Aidikoff Screening Room in Beverly Hills, graciously hosted by the one and only Charles Aidikoff. $50 tax deductible tickets need to be purchased in advance as space is extremely limited, see details below.
And a reminder: Greg Laemmle's The First Basket might be going into its last week in LA so don't miss it. For info go to: http://laemmle.com/viewmovie.php?mid=3997.
Last but not least: in the past month we've been interviewed on TV and had some written press published as well. Please check the new stuff out on our website's press page at: http://newlovefilms.com/press.php
